On the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB), instituted by United Nations in 1992 to sensitize on ecological crisis and promote increasing awareness on the importance of nature, students from the association UniversiRà, supported by Green Office Alma Mater, organized the second edition of the Biodiversity Festival.
The initiative aims at promoting the conservation of biodiversity, and its safeguard and is directed at citizens and the university community.
Selene Tondini was part of the organizing committee, whereas Carlo Cintolesi presented a talk on the I-CHANGE project entitled: “Il progetto I-CHANGE: cambio di stili di vita e soluzioni basate sulla natura per una nuova vivibilità urbana” (“The I-CHANGE project: change of lifestyle and nature-based solutions for a new urban liveability”).
The speech presented generally the framework and the goals of I-CHANGE project and more specifically the activities planned by the Bologna Living Lab, where stakeholders and citizen participation are promoted and will support the citizen science activites.
