On April 15, 2024, I-CHANGE researchers from the Sociology Department at the University of Bologna presented preliminary findings from their ongoing research within the project at the EGU24

The research team unveiled intriguing preliminary results regarding the assessment of shifts toward pro-environmental behaviors spurred by participation in citizen science activities, such as surveys and serious game mapping activities. The Bologna Living Lab research design encompasses both quantitative and qualitative components. The quantitative aspect involves analyzing change through a questionnaire based on the COM-B behavioral framework, while the qualitative aspect delves deeper into certain key aspects identified through interviews and focus groups.

Initial analyses indicate a tangible shift in awareness of climate issues among participants in Bologna’s Living Lab activities.
