The I-CHANGE Hasselt Living Lab has performed focus group experiments with students and citizens to understand whether the existing personalized carbon footprint calculators help induce behavioural change in a positive direction.

Experiments were organised in a way that participants were invited to provide their daily routine and consumption inputs to a few selected carbon footprint calculators and then responded on different questions formulated to understand their experiences and further commitments to behavioural change.

Under similar setting experiments are also underway in developing country environment for comparison purposes. Detail findings of these experiments will soon be shared via a research article.
