What Makes the I-CHANGE Dashboard So Unique?

This is not just another climate awareness tool. The I-CHANGE Dashboard turns you into an active participant in the fight against climate change. Here is how:

1. Dive into Interactive Climate Insights

Want to understand the challenges of climate change? The dashboard’s Climate Storylines are packed with engaging content to help you grasp the complexities of environmental hazards and their impacts. It’s more than just information—it’s an eye-opening journey into the why and how of climate issues.

2. Be a Citizen Scientist

Ever thought about collecting real scientific data? With the Climate Campaigns feature, you can join others in crowdsourcing data for climate research. Not only will your contributions matter, but you’ll also gain a hands-on understanding of the science behind climate action.

3. Make Sense of Sensor Data

Collected some data but unsure what it means? The dashboard’s technical support tools help you interpret and contextualize sensor readings. With this guidance, you’ll make smarter, more informed decisions about your own impact on the planet.

4. Game Your Way to Greener Habits

Coming soon: tools like the avoided carbon footprint app and the I-CHANGE Game will help you track your progress and build sustainable habits in fun, engaging ways. It’s climate action, but with a gamified twist!

Why It Matters: From Awareness to Action

Reading about climate change is not enough to spark action. The I-CHANGE Dashboard breaks that barrier by empowering you to act. Through citizen science and interactive tools, it bridges the gap between knowing what is wrong and doing something about it.

Spotlight: Citizen Science in Action!

At the 2024 Festival of Meteorologia in Rovereto, students got a taste of the dashboard’s capabilities. Using MeteoTracker devices, they collected real-time weather data, compared it with climate projections, and discussed fascinating local phenomena like thermal inversions. These hands-on activities not only generated valuable data but also inspired participants to think critically about their local climate.

Ready to Make a Difference?

The I-CHANGE Dashboard is your chance to turn climate knowledge into meaningful action. By participating, you are joining a global community of citizens working together to combat climate change and promote sustainable living.
